Clip for Eagle is a Chrome extension that helps a user save the webpage they are currently viewing into their local Eagle library through the Eagle desktop app and the Eagle plugin Clip.
When the user explicitly triggers a save action, the extension captures the information needed to save the current page into Eagle. This may include:
The extension then sends that data to the locally running Eagle plugin bridge on the same device so Eagle can import it.
The extension may handle the following categories of data, only when the user requests a save:
The extension is not designed to collect unrelated browsing data in the background for analytics, advertising, profiling, or resale.
The extension sends captured page data to the local Eagle plugin bridge running on 127.0.0.1 on the user's own computer.
The extension does not send captured content to a publisher-operated remote server.
